Professor Yunus z-Narendra Modi meeting in Bangkok tomorrow
Bangladesh’s Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yu xnus and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the BIMSTEC summit in Bangkok tomorrow, confirmed the Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam.
This is the first time that Professor Yunxus is meeting Narendra Modi after assuming charge of the interim government.
Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam told BSS, “There will be a meeting between the heads of government of Bangladesh and India tomorrow.” Shafiqul Alam said the two leaders met at the BIMSTEC summit dinner in Bangkok today and exchanged greetings. Both leaders were seen talking closely for some time at the dinner.
Professor Yunus and Narendra Modi are currently in Bangkok on the occasion of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Regional Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit. The BIMSTEC summit is being held in Bangkok from April 2 to 4.
